McCrorey YMCA Best Buy Teen Tech Center

RAD has been working in collaboration with the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Best Buy, Atrium Health, and Gat3 Productions to create a 1,600 SF Best Buy Teen Tech Center in the McCrorey YMCA.  The space is a community gathering room where teens have access to a computer lab with 3D printers, recording studio, a music production engineering booth, a cyclorama photography/video studio, and various collaboration meeting areas. They will also have access to various software to learn and produce work for digital fabrication, animation, music productions, photography, and video.

One of the fun, design elements is the featured swirl RGBW pendants:

Custom light source options and high-tech controllers completely transform the 16”, 23”, and 32” swirl fixtures. Go for brighter whites, or a rainbow of color or hundreds of patterns of color synchronization, sequencing, advancing, rolling and more…changes to any color preference with a remote control.  (by BLACKJACK)
